The driving licence of a "new driver" will not be renewed as an ordinary driving licence if he has been convicted in court of an offence of:

1. ADriving a motor vehicle without valid insurance.
2. BFailure to stop at a junction where a "give right of way to traffic on the crossing road" sign is placed.
3. CFailure to place a warning triangle when the vehicle was left standing on the road because of a breakdown.
4. DDriving a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol or intoxicating drugs.
