מדיניות זו חלה על אפליקציית תיאוריה, המופעלת על ידי בן באשא ("אנחנו"). יצירת קשר: theory@benbasha.com.
בקצרה: תוכן הלמידה המפורט שלכם נשאר על המכשיר, ואין חשבון משתמש — לעולם לא נבקש את השם או הדוא"ל שלכם. כדי לשפר את האפליקציה אנחנו אוספים נתוני שימוש ודיווחי קריסות אנונימיים דרך Mixpanel ו-Google Firebase (פירוט בהמשך), המקושרים רק למזהה אקראי ולא לזהותכם. בגרסה החינמית מוצגות גם פרסומות של Google AdMob. רכישה חד-פעמית מסירה את הפרסומות; האנליטיקה ודיווח הקריסות עדיין חלים בכל הגרסאות.
מה נשמר על המכשיר
כל המידע שהאפליקציה יוצרת נשמר מקומית על המכשיר בלבד:
- התקדמות התרגול, תוצאות מבחנים ומאגר הטעויות
- רצף ימי הלימוד וההישגים
- הגדרות האפליקציה ושפת הממשק
- תאריך מבחן התיאוריה ותאריך הלידה שתבחרו להזין (משמשים רק לספירה לאחור ולבדיקת התאמה לסוג הרישיון — ולעולם לא נשלחים לשום מקום)
- סטטוס הרכישה החד-פעמית
מחיקת האפליקציה מוחקת את כל המידע הזה. "איפוס התקדמות הלמידה" בהגדרות מוחק את נתוני הלמידה אך שומר על הרכישה, השפה וסוג הרישיון.
אנליטיקה ודיווח קריסות (בכל הגרסאות)
כדי להבין באילו תכונות משתמשים וכדי לאתר ולתקן קריסות, האפליקציה שולחת נתוני שימוש ואבחון אנונימיים לשני ספקים:
- Mixpanel — אנליטיקת מוצר (איך משתמשים בתכונות)
- Google Firebase — Google Analytics for Firebase (שימוש) ו-Crashlytics (דיווח קריסות)
מה זה כולל:
- אירועי שימוש: באילו מסכים פותחים ואילו פעולות מבצעים — למשל התחלה או סיום של תרגול או מבחן, ציון במבחן, פתיחת מסך הרכישה, השלמת רכישה, שינוי שפה או הגדרה, ואינטראקציה עם פרסומות.
- מידע בסיסי על המכשיר והאפליקציה: דגם המכשיר, גרסת מערכת ההפעלה, גרסת האפליקציה, שפת הממשק, והאם נרכשה הגרסה המלאה.
- מיקום משוער שנגזר מכתובת ה-IP (ברמת מדינה/אזור), כמקובל באנליטיקה.
- מזהה אקראי שהאפליקציה יוצרת כדי לקבץ אירועים מאותה התקנה. הוא אינו השם, הדוא"ל או חשבון שלכם, והוא מתאפס בהתקנה מחדש.
- אבחון קריסות: כשהאפליקציה קורסת, נשמרים נתוני קריסה ומצב מכשיר בסיסי כדי שנוכל לתקן את התקלה.
איננו מוכרים את הנתונים האלה ואיננו משתמשים בהם כדי לזהות אתכם אישית — אין חשבונות. באייפון, האנליטיקה של Google מכבדת את בחירת "שקיפות במעקב" שלכם (ראו בהמשך). על העיבוד של הספקים חלות המדיניויות שלהם:
פרסומות (בגרסה החינמית בלבד)
הגרסה החינמית מציגה באנרים, פרסומות מעבר בין סבבי תרגול וסרטוני תגמול אופציונליים. הפרסומות מוגשות על ידי Google AdMob. לצורך הגשת פרסומות ומדידתן, Google עשויה לעבד:
- מזהה פרסום של המכשיר (IDFA באייפון / Google Advertising ID באנדרואיד)
- כתובת IP (שממנה נגזר מיקום משוער)
- נתוני מכשיר בסיסיים ונתוני אינטראקציה עם פרסומות (צפיות, הקשות)
באייפון, לפני שנטענת פרסומת כלשהי, האפליקציה מבקשת הרשאה דרך חלון "שקיפות במעקב" (App Tracking Transparency) של אפל. אם תאשרו, הפרסומות עשויות להיות מותאמות אישית באמצעות מזהה הפרסום. אם תסרבו, האפליקציה תבקש פרסומות לא מותאמות בלבד ומזהה הפרסום לא ישמש להתאמה אישית. אפשר לשנות את הבחירה בכל רגע ב: הגדרות ← פרטיות ואבטחה ← מעקב.
באנדרואיד אפשר להגביל התאמת פרסומות ב: הגדרות ← Google ← מודעות.
אופן השימוש של Google בנתונים מתואר כאן:
הרכישה מסירה את הפרסומות. אחרי הפתיחה המלאה החד-פעמית, האפליקציה מפסיקה לבקש ולהציג פרסומות, ובהפעלות הבאות רכיב הפרסומות לא מאותחל כלל ושום נתון פרסומי לא נאסף. (האנליטיקה ודיווח הקריסות האנונימיים שתוארו למעלה עדיין חלים.)
רכישות
הרכישה החד-פעמית מעובדת כולה על ידי ה-App Store של אפל או Google Play. האפליקציה מקבלת רק אישור רכישה; פרטי תשלום לעולם לא מגיעים אליה. על העסקה חלות מדיניות הפרטיות של אפל ושל Google.
התראות
תזכורות הלימוד הן התראות מקומיות שמתוזמנות על המכשיר עצמו. אין שרת התראות, ושום נתון התראות לא עוזב את המכשיר.
מה האפליקציה לא עושה
- אין חשבונות, אין התחברות, אין שם או דוא"ל — האנליטיקה מקושרת רק למזהה אקראי, לעולם לא לפרופיל אישי
- איננו מוכרים את הנתונים שלכם
- הפניות היחידות של האפליקציה לרשת הן רכיבי האנליטיקה והקריסות (Mixpanel, Google Firebase), רכיב הפרסומות של Google (בגרסה החינמית), מערכת החיוב של חנות האפליקציות, וקישורים שאתם בוחרים לפתוח (כמו עמוד זה)
מקורות התוכן
מאגר השאלות והתמונות מבוסס על מאגר שאלות התיאוריה הרשמי שמפרסם משרד התחבורה (gov.il). המאגר ארוז בתוך האפליקציה — ולכן לא צריך חיבור לאינטרנט כדי ללמוד.
ילדים
האפליקציה מיועדת למתכוננים למבחן התיאוריה בישראל (בדרך כלל מגיל 15.5 ומעלה) ואינה מכוונת לילדים מתחת לגיל 13.
שינויים
אם המדיניות תשתנה, הגרסה המעודכנת תפורסם בכתובת theory.benbasha.com/privacy עם תאריך תוקף חדש.

Privacy Policy
תיאוריה (Theory Test Israel) · Effective June 13, 2026
This policy covers the תיאוריה (Theory Test Israel) mobile app, operated by Ben Basha ("we"). Contact: theory@benbasha.com.
The short version: your detailed learning content stays on your device, and there is no account system — we never ask for your name or email. To improve the app we collect anonymous usage analytics and crash reports through Mixpanel and Google Firebase (details below), tied only to a random identifier, not to your identity. The free version also shows ads served by Google AdMob. The one-time premium unlock removes the ads; analytics and crash reporting still apply to all versions.
What the app stores on your device
All data the app creates is stored locally on your device only:
- Practice progress, exam results, and the mistakes bank
- Daily streak and badges
- App settings and UI language
- The theory exam date and birth date you optionally enter (used only to show a countdown and check license-class eligibility — never transmitted)
- Whether the one-time unlock was purchased
Deleting the app deletes all of this. "Reset learning progress" in settings deletes the learning data while keeping your purchase, language, and license type.
Analytics and crash reporting (all versions)
To understand which features are used and to find and fix crashes, the app sends anonymous usage and diagnostic data to two providers:
- Mixpanel — product analytics (how features are used)
- Google Firebase — Google Analytics for Firebase (usage) and Crashlytics (crash reports)
What this involves:
- Usage events: which screens you open and actions you take — for example starting or finishing a practice session or exam, an exam score, opening the paywall, completing a purchase, changing the language or a setting, and ad interactions.
- Basic device and app information: device model, operating-system version, app version, UI language, and whether you have the premium unlock.
- An approximate location derived from your IP address (country/region level), as is standard for analytics.
- A random identifier the app generates to group events from the same install. It is not your name, email, or account, and it resets if you reinstall.
- Crash diagnostics: a stack trace and basic device state when the app crashes, so we can fix the bug.
We do not sell this data and do not use it to identify you personally — there are no accounts. On iOS, Google's analytics respects your App Tracking Transparency choice (see below). The providers' own policies govern their processing:
Advertising (free version only)
The free version shows banner ads, occasional interstitial ads between practice sessions, and optional rewarded videos. Ads are served by Google AdMob. To serve and measure ads, Google may process:
- A device advertising identifier (Apple IDFA / Google Advertising ID)
- IP address (which implies an approximate location)
- Basic device information and ad-interaction data (views, taps)
On iOS, the app asks for permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency prompt before any ad loads. If you allow tracking, ads may be personalized using your advertising identifier. If you decline, the app requests non-personalized ads only and your advertising identifier is not used for personalization. You can change this anytime in iOS Settings → Privacy & Security → Tracking.
On Android, you can limit ad personalization in Settings → Google → Ads.
How Google uses this data is described at:
Premium removes the ads. After the one-time unlock, the app stops requesting and showing ads; on subsequent launches the ad SDK is not initialized and no advertising data is collected. (The anonymous analytics and crash reporting described above still apply.)
Purchases
The one-time unlock is processed entirely by Apple's App Store or Google Play. The app only receives the purchase confirmation; payment details never reach the app. Apple's and Google's own privacy policies govern that transaction.
Notifications
Study reminders are local notifications scheduled on your device. There is no push server and no notification data leaves the device.
What the app does NOT do
- No accounts, no sign-in, no name or email — analytics is tied only to a random identifier, never to a personal profile
- No selling of your data
- The app's only network traffic is the analytics and crash SDKs (Mixpanel, Google Firebase), Google's ad SDK (free version), the app store's billing system, and links you choose to open (such as this policy)
Content sources
The question bank and images come from the official driving-theory question bank published by the Israeli Ministry of Transport (gov.il). They are bundled inside the app, which is why no internet connection is needed to study.
Children
The app is intended for people preparing for the Israeli driving-theory exam (generally 15.5 and older) and is not directed at children under 13.
Changes
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted at theory.benbasha.com/privacy with a new effective date.
