What is the law regarding placing or leaving objects on the road?

1. AAn object liable to interfere with road users or their vehicles, or to endanger them, must not be placed or left on the road.
2. BIt is permitted to leave any object on the road, provided it is marked with a reflector during the "lighting period".
3. CObjects left on the road must be removed within 12 hours of being left there.
4. DIt is permitted to leave it, but the Ministry of the Environment must be notified immediately of any object placed on the road.
